Cincinnati Mayor, Aftab Pureval, Awards Proclamation to LYP Health Management
LYP Health Management Day Proclaimed by Mayor Aftab Pureval, Commemorating 10 years of Healthcare Services and Community Excellence
Cincinnati, OH: LYP Health Management, a leading healthcare services provider located in Cincinnati, OH, is proud to announce that Cincinnati Mayor, Aftab Pureval, has officially proclaimed Friday, August 18th, LYP Health Management Day in conjunction with their 10th anniversary. This proclamation is a testament to LYP’s decade-long commitment to its employees and the Cincinnati community while providing exceptional service and patient experiences for clients.
Founded in 2013, LYP has become a leader in contact center services. “I’m humbled by the hard work and tenacity of our associates and employees over the years to grow LYP into the dynamic, successful company it is today,” said Nick Recker, Founder of LYP Health Management. Recker got his entrepreneurial start in 2002 when he founded Path Forward IT, with the vision to serve clients in capacities that allow them to focus on their core business. That vision required an open mindset to anticipate new services; that mindset provided the opportunity to focus on a core client base: specialty healthcare and their growing needs for contact center support; LYP was created in 2013 when they answered their first patient call as a service offering of Path Forward IT. “Our first client grew to two, and at the end of 2017, we were answering more than 10 million patient calls a year,” continued Recker. “An open mindset with helping our clients and our employees’ dedication to excellent service made LYP successful.”
With a new wave of shortages facing the healthcare industry in the wake of the pandemic, Recker realized LYP needed to become a separate entity to continue growing and remain agile; his team began the work to make LYP a stand-alone business and brought in Scott Farmer as CEO. “We’ve experienced many changes and growth in the past two years,” said Scott Farmer, CEO of LYP Health Management. “LYP has expanded our service offering beyond inbound patient scheduling. We now offer outbound patient access services, administrative back-office support, and revenue cycle management services. These solutions help our clients focus on providing excellent patient care. We free up their in-house staff to treat patients while we help with paperwork or call reminders. Essentially, we are helping staff take on more of the tasks they enjoy and ensuring patients have a better experience. And at the heart of that is our service-minded employees.”
“It takes a special skillset to be part of our team,” said Farmer. “Our associates (those who answer patient calls) and employees live our core values. They believe in delivering compassionate care and service and giving their all, all the time. We are constantly looking for ways to innovate and improve the patient, client, and employee experience; we work with honesty and integrity; everyone has the opportunity and is encouraged to play a part in the solution. I’m honored to lead and be part of this team.”
Recker and Farmer met with Mayor Pureval on Thursday, August 17th to accept his proclamation, along with members of the leadership team. LYP was recognized for being a strong community supporter through employment, training and mentorship opportunities, diversity practices and programming, and volunteer service over the past ten years. “Great things are on the horizon for LYP and our people,” said Farmer, “we are just getting started.”
